VOM Children's Home - Wish List

  Kitchen and Dining Room

Community members generously donated pots and pans, dishes, utensils and many, many items initially needed to outfit the kitchen when it opened several years ago. All meals for the children are now prepared on-site. Additional and replacement items are needed for the kitchen and dining room.

The kitchen features two large sized ranges, commercial mixers, hot and cold serving stations, and walk-in cold storage.

The adjacent dining room is very large, pleasant and filled with light. It is a pleasant gathering place for the children. Most meals are served informally buffet-style with choices for the children. The children enjoy dining family-style for holidays and special events; tablecloths would add a special touch to these occasions.
